Hey, hi, hello! I'm Marissa!
Hi there! I'm Marissa and I am excited to be in my 5th year of this journey with my photography business. I'm a mom to two sweet little girls who are just 15 months apart and wife to my favorite person in the world. My love of photography began in my Junior year of High School when I wanted to be a storm chaser.
I love music, comedy, and movies. I'm a huge fangirl for Taylor Swift and The Office (the American version). I enjoy catching up with friends over drinks on a patio in the sunshine.

I went to Southwestern Michigan College and Andrews University for a total of 5 years of photography education, with a focus in commercial still life. I took a detour and began working for a local bank where I have been working a day job for 10 years. Photography has continued to be a passion that I pursued by assisting friends and other photographers for weddings as well as doing some independent work for people I know.
I am passionate about photographing engagements, weddings and families from all walks of life. For me, it's about the little things that make a grand love. My favorite moments in life are the completely unposed that reflect a natural connection.
